We often fall into the trap of comparing with others. I often see this in my work with young people. Unfortunately, many adults continue to compare and compete with others throughout their lives. When they see someone owns a bigger house, or a better car, or makes more money, or has a "perfect family", or has some qualities they want, they will start chasing in their minds Something that other people have. There is nothing wrong with appreciating others or allowing others to inspire us, but dont fall into the trap of comparing them to them. Remember, we have to make a real comparison with who we were yesterday. The talent in the mirror is the real opponent. When you go to bed every night, ask yourself: "How am I today than yesterday?"

Are you becoming a better person? Are you more reliable today? Is your belief the strongest today? Are you more active today? Does your influence affect more people today? Are you more determined to achieve your goals today than yesterday? These are the questions you should ask yourself.
Franklin Roosevelt said: "Comparison is theft of joy"

Know and believe that your goals will be the fuel you need to keep going through tough times. When time gets tough, it's usually when that little voice in your head starts talking and tries to divert your attention from what you're trying to accomplish to compare your life to the lives of others.

If you keep comparing yourself with others,                you will definitely lose your happiness. You                  will be miserable. You will never truly feel                       complete or satisfied with your life.

Make sure your goals are clear. Make sure they are concrete, achievable and measurable. Divide larger goals into smaller goals and celebrate small victories in the process.Giving yourself a deadline to complete certain things is not what your life should be. Realize that things will happen when they should happen, and the best things in life take time!

You should never feel that you have failed because you did not accomplish something at a certain age. Achievement is achievement, whether it is at the age of 25 or 35. This life is yours, not someone else's. Live for yourself and give yourself the time needed to realize your dreams. Pay no attention to where others might be in their game. You have your own game to win and you must complete the game at your own pace. Good luck!
