I often see this in my work with young people . Unfortunately , many adults continue to compare and compete with others throughout their li v e s . When t hey see someone o wn s a bigger house, or a bett er car, or makes more money, or has a " perfect family " , or has some qualit ies they want, they will st a rt chasi n g in their minds Some thin g that o ther p eo p le ha ve . There is nothing wrong with a pprec i at ing others or allowing o th e r s to inspire us, but dont fall into the trap of comparing them to them. Remember, w e have to make a real comparison with who we were yesterday. The tal en t in the mirror is the real op p onent .
